What Visitors Say
“People say this movie theater offers comfortable reclining seats and a great atmosphere. They also highlight the convenient online ticketing and snack ordering, and the friendly staff. Other reviews mention the concessions can be closed early.”
I visited this theater last Friday (February 13th) to watch a movie at 1:00. By the time the movie had finished, I counted five separate individuals who had their phones out. I had no choice but to change my seat three different times as I could not avoid seeing a bright smartphone screen, whether it was directly in front of me or in my peripheral vision. This wasn't people simply taking their phones out to quickly respond to a text message or check the time. At one point, two people directly in front of me kept passing back one of their phones, and the one had her camera app open and appeared to be attempting to covertly take photos (which is a federal crime that breaks Federal Copyright Law 18 U.S.C. § 2319B). It's infuriating to see this sort of inconsiderate, entitled behavior being tolerated. Checking the time or excusing yourself to take a call is one thing, but constantly tapping away at your screen or scrolling through Instagram during a movie is disrespectful to others who have paid money to be there. Is what's on your phone really that much more exciting than watching a movie you've never seen before? Smartphone addiction is a bane on society. This experience killed the movie going experience for me, and no theater will be getting any more of my business in the future. Visitors have a social obligation to be courteous to others, and movie theaters themselves are responsible for enforcing their own rules. If I want to watch a new movie, I'll wait until a streaming service releases it so I can watch it in the comfort of my home.
a month agoHello everyone, this was my first or second time visiting the theater. It could use some updates. The sound system was OK, but I heard a lot of noise coming from the other theaters. It could also have been cleaner. The seats were really nice and comfortable. The movie was great. The customer service was good, which is why I gave 3 💫. Not sure if I'd come back unless invited by someone.
2 weeks agoMy husband and I went to this AMC once and never came back. We always go to the one in Rocky River instead. The reclined chairs were broken and could not recline. I looked at other seats in the theater, and many of them are even ripped. I wonder who did that.
3 weeks agoI like this location. It's an average theater. It was nice to me. Bathrooms were clean. Of course, the popcorn and food is high, but I just get a kid pack, lol. Theater seats recline and are pretty comfy. I have no issues any time I go watch a movie!
a year agoWent to see Scream 7 with my husband for our 11 wedding anniversary and ended up leaving and having to get refunded because the rest of the audience was so loud from screaming and yelling at the movie it was so disappointing I will not be returning back to this specific AMC movie theater.... The manager just sent a staff member in to check but that's as far as it went, nothing was done about it. Would not recommend going to this specific AMC movie theater
