So ate here a decade ago. And for us not to go back somewhere, it must’ve been entirely not memorable then. So we tried it today before a comedy show and the first thing I wanna say is great weight staff very attentive. We had Shishido peppers appetizer, which was good, we had bone marrow, which our second attempted bone marrow first one was amazing at another restaurant and this one just felt like fatty tissue. Then not a lot of flavor. Portions were inconsistent. Also one bone was really deep. One bone was negligible. They brought out a new bone for us and we didn’t even complain. We just pointed it out. That’s great service. My wife had meatballs which she liked didn’t get a picture unfortunately I had some sticky Korean chicken, which was flavorful but nothing that’s gonna end up being memorable I didn’t care for the coleslaw. My wife liked it and then the pickles tasted like bread and butter, pickles and those were good. Overall, it was just OK and I really wanted it to be wow. If you look at my other reviews, I am usually not. Caustic or anything so giving a three star should probably be 3 1/2 stars but they don’t let you do that. One of the things that I remember from the first time we went was that they had all sorts of charcuterie boards, but speaking to the server, they said that Covid killed lunches for business, and they had to get rid of their deli kind of hard to be called butcher in the brew if all you are as a brew now. We probably won’t go back.
2 weeks agoThe waiter was excellent and knowledgeable. The music was a little louder than we liked just made it hard to talk and hear. Very neat inside. The food was delicious as we tried alot and shared. I would definitely recommend this but I couldn't go here all the time due to it being expensive.
3 weeks agoA nice brewpub on a very busy 4th street. They're super efficient with their service and the food came out really quick! The cocktails we had were great, but the food was a bit hit or miss. Pretzel was really good and pork belly bites were good but small portions. The cacio e pepe was just fine, could have some more salt. But overall would definitely come back!
5 months agoIf you're looking for a brewery to come to when you're in downtown proper then you should check this place out. The staff is very nice in the bar can accommodate big and large groups. The sliders look and smell delicious so I would imagine they're pretty tasty too.
5 months agoFun atmosphere, friendly staff. You have to use your phone to scan the QR code to get the menu. That's the only part we didn't like cause my phone takes forever to load. But the drinks were great, the food was delicious, we would highly recommend you stop in and give them a try!
