2 months agoThe great thing about Cinematheque is that you get the opportunity to see movies that you probably would not get to see in a theater any other way. We love going there and supporting their endeavors to promote the non-blockbusters that tell real stories. We saw Every Littlw Thing, about a woman who runs a hummingbird rehab and release facility. It's a beautiful story. I highly recommend it. And I got to see it in a theater solely BECAUSE of Cinematheque promoting this movie at the behest of the Audubon society. It's hard to be heard in the modern art world. Cinematheque gives voice and a platform to projects that would not often see the light of day otherwise. They also show classic films on the big screen, which is another type of rare opportunity. I highly recommend supporting them and checking out a film there.
a year agoWorth going! They offer some interesting unique shows. Can buy tickets there or online. First come first serve seating. Good amount of seats. Entrance on the side, then walk down the hallway to the cinema. Security guards will help direct you. Parking garages around outside.
