Beware some of the other reviews. One complains about the parking attendant… but the garage is completely automated so there is no attendant. Another says it has no kid-friendly area, but there is a huge play area with playhouse, puzzles, books, kid furniture. Just look at photos and consider some reviews might be skewed.

I never got to go into the library because there was no way to get into the parking garage. The attendant for the garage was extremely rude and has no place in working in customer service. It's hard to support local libraries in situations like these where you're denied access.

I was really looking forward to visiting this library with my family, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the staff just stared at us instead of offering a simple greeting or any assistance. It made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. To make matters worse, this library does not seem to be family- or child-friendly at all. There was no warmth, no effort to engage with families, and overall, the atmosphere felt uninviting. A library should be a place where everyone feels encouraged to explore and learn, but that was not the case here.

Not gonna lie I like the new mlk library but I am gonna miss the old mlk library building because I literally grew up with that one since I was little so it's going to get adjusting to but i like the big space definitely gonna take my daughter here because the children's area is so cute with the new kitchen area and markers and toys etc

New, Nice, And Has Plenty Of Security For The Area. I Like This Branch. Plus I Can Walk From My Other House To This One.
