It's free admission but very small. We went during Labor Day weekend so there were many people watching the fighter jets practice for the air show.

2 months agoThis is a free attraction and a fun pitstop if you’re in the Cleveland area! Lots of inspiring women’s stories relics and history- especially Ohio natives. We enjoyed this self guided exhibit on a quiet Sunday but they also do guided tours on weekdays. No fees except we paid 7 dollars to park- worth it!
9 months agoWhat a beautiful hidden historical gem! This free admission collection is housed in the Burke Lakefront Airport which harkens back to small local airports of old times. It is not for commercial jets, so is small and houses several aviation based businesses and organizations. It is situated along a beautiful lake view. The collection is arranged chronologically and highlights these pioneering women's lives both personally and professionally. There is a wonderful balance of admiration for their tenacity and acknowledgment of the privilege needed to attain their aviation goals. It is obvious that the exhibit was set up with accessibility in mind. The parking is plentiful and the entrance is an automatic door with no threshold. The displays are low enough to be seen from a wheelchair and there are buttons to speak and light up the displays. The only thing I was unable to say that others could was the control display of one of the flight simulators. The gift shop is within the offices of the two employees who were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. This is a great place for those who need a quiet environment without big crowds.
2 years agoA small and free exhibition in the terminal of local airport in Cleveland. From the aviation beginning to the space activity but only womens. Girl power!
