New Life Church Lakewood: Cleveland Church Guide

I've been serving Jesus since the age of 12. Many of those years were spent at one Church. During Covid, said church was impacted to the point where it had to close. This was a hard time for myself and family. We were undoubtedly going to continue in our faith. However, the community in which we did so was unknown. We gave ourselves a year to find a new church home or we had decided we'd move out of state to start afresh. Somewhere we could feel like family, had biblically sound doctrine and theology, safe and established child care, and spirit led praise and worship. We visited nearly 10 churches in our area before we stumbled upon New Life. As soon as we entered the sanctuary, it felt like home. We were greeted and welcomed immediately. The message was sound and the worship was great! My Family and I felt a peace that this is where God was calling us to. They have a great life flow from Kids Church to Youth Ministry to Young Adults to Adult ministries for Men and Women. Like everything, building relationships takes efforts from two parties. Nonetheless, the congregation as a whole inviting and there is something for all ages and demographics. I grateful God led me and my family here.

An amazing church. Loved the people. They were very welcoming, from the worship to the preaching. Overall a great experience.

I will not return.Visit x3, the sermons on The Book of Revelation was informative.. Nonjudgmental, I received a letter and book "The Generosity Ladder" with a disrespectful letter. A Bible would had been accepted.. Ponder 2 Timothy 3:16-17

I started to go to the church online after I receive toys from tots from their church. The gentlemen who asked me if he could pray for me was very kind and really kind of open my eyes to find my way back to the church. So I started to attend. Everything was fine up until I signed up for one of their groups. I think I went to two sessions and then the next time I want to sign in to the zoom for the group there was nobody on so I reached out they were able to get me connected back to the group which they had changed or whatever the case may happen, but then it happened again and I never received any emails or text with the new information. So I didn’t bother reaching back out. Maybe a week or so later I reached out on Facebook to the church to see if they have any information for housing or housing assistance because I have recently lost my job and my home. While you pregnant and having a four-year-old. I said several messages they were all seen, but no one ever responded so I just took the hint and left this church. Very disappointed because Pastor Bob did amazing job. For me, it was the continuous reaching out in either not get the response or busted saying that someone would reach out and no one never did. For the amount of work that they put in I really do feel discriminated against. Especially since I have sent so many messages about having an elder, give me a call or for me to come by to speak with somebody. My sole purpose was to get back to the church and it really feels like it has been effortless.But I also feel like this is more for young adults. I’m in my early 30s and it was something that the guy said who brought me to this church.

Very, very welcoming to ALL…extremely uplifting in a very caring surrounding, where you not only feel peace, you feel enlightened and invigorated while listening to words that give you today’s life understanding of scripture. I feel the Holy Spirit inside me every time I attend a service there. I also leave completely uplifted and hopeful.
