My dad & I went to see the Glen Miller Orchestra play at Severance Hall on 12-1-25. I grew up going to big band brunches as a little girl with my parents & my mom's parents (& other extended family). Dancing to that music & spending time with family. It was magical. Last night, it brought back so many wonderful memories! Unfortunately, my mom was under the weather so I got to share this experience with my dad. The orchestra played original pieces & some holiday sets as well. I highly recommend, if you love big band music, to see them in concert! I will definitely purchase tickets in the future!

Variety of programming and level of performance is incredible. Was there recently for an all-contemporary concert with John Adams conducting and was reassured to see it filled up with receptive Clevelanders.

Another phenomenal Holiday Concert! Sarah is conductor extraordinaire! Meredith Wohlgemuth is such a gifted soprano - please have her back next year! She is by far the best solo performer in the 3 years (started 2023) my husband and I attended the Holiday Concerts. It is now officially our Holiday Tradition. The College of Wooster Chorus was amazing! Definitely up there with the angels. The orchestra was truly an ensemble of perfect delight! Thank you all for another experience worth coming back to every year! Can't wait to reserve our seats ASAP!

Went for Christmas concert got an asian music lesson. Had a whole choir and clearly they took the parking spaces. Can see why the arts are in need of funding as they put their own intrests before the audience they perform to. Thus not able to fill a house to pay for the art they provide. Very sad that it has gone down to this. Christmas is Christmas. Dont make it something else. Get woke and know your audience. I love variety. Would support what was produced. But dont tell me its christmas concert and deliver anything but Christmas music. You can and should do better. Wont support anymore as i can get this on u tube with out the parking hassle or bait n switch

We were here for The Black Panther movie with the score being played by The Cleveland Orchestra. It was utterly amazing. They went all in for this. The lobby had 4 of the original costumes worn by the stars of the movie (Black Panther, Killmonger, Queen Mother, & Okaye) and then there was a Q&A with the brothers of Chadwick Boseman, the Black Panther. It was all very heartfelt, touching, and mesmerizing. Let me add that I didn't think I would enjoy watching a movie that I've seen a hundred times with the Orchestra playing. I was so wrong. It sounded phenomenal. The whole thing was so well done. The guy who plays the "drum", that is not really a drum, had me in awe.
