“We had a great stay! The lobby was very nice and welcoming, and the staff was friendly from the moment we checked in. The pool area was clean and well-maintained, which we really appreciated. Our room was nice as well, though we were a little surprised to find a full-size bed instead of the usual queen in a single-bed room. Not a deal-breaker, just unexpected. Overall, it was a good experience with helpful, friendly staff. We’d stay again!”
“On 2/28 my home was burned to the ground in a fire. On 3/1 I booked a hotel at Home 2 independence Ohio. My wallet, ID and all cards were lost in the fire along with all my possessions. I had only a suitcase and some clothes I had just bought. The disrespect and lack of human decency I was shown by all staff and ownership was beyond reprehensible. I paid using honors points as I am a diamond member of 20 years. They required an ID I did not have and their credit system declined my Apple Pay erroneously. Through all this I am in great distress having lost my home and property and these people were so rude and disrespectful I cannot believe it. I am now a Marriot customer and no one should ever go to this hotel.”
“Was very disappointed by this Hilton property. For starters, the rooms are outdated, super small TV and uncomfortable beds. Even though we stood there 3 nights and it's posted that room service will come every other day, apparently they have no Friday or weekend service (see below picture of the message they sent me back). Weren't even willing to bring towels to the room. The breakfast buffet is also very lacking. Hot foods where only warm, very little variety. The only thing positive I can say is that the older lady working her butt off at the breakfast buffet was very sweet and welcoming. Other staff were not as hospitable. Would not come back”
