Pike View Motel: Cleveland Hotel Guide

“After leaving a toxic situation. I stayed there for 2 months. Diane the Manager there is a huge sweetheart. Karen the owner the few interactions I had with her were great. I am forever thankful for them being able to rent a room to me. Now for the nitty gritty. The parking lot is a disaster zone it needs to be patched up and repaved. Doordash and Uber hate delivering or dropping off anything there due to signage and the parking lot. I even got marked as non-deliverable by several drivers. While I stayed there they had a serious issue with the water heater which was finally fixed before I left. There were at least 10 separate occasions I was not able to shower there. There was also a drain issue with my tub that was fixed as well. I will post a video it unfortunately took several weeks to get that fixed. However if you have things in the shower the plumber they hire will just take your stuff and throw it wherever he pleases which was rather ignorant he did that to me 2 times he was in my room working on things. They unfortunately didn't have the time to do a thorough cleaning of the room. Before I moved It smelled like the previous renter. It's very quiet there considering being very close to the highway. The only thing I didn't like was I paid for a full week and didn't stay the last full week NONE of my money was refunded back to me which isn't right. You should not be allowed to keep money from a renter if they leave before the paid time is up. They are the cheapest in the area 60.00 for a night 260.00 for a week. Would I recommend staying there ? If you are down on your luck and need to save money yes. Otherwise no.”

“came here as an emergency & my room smells like mold so very bad I woke up the next day and not being able to breathe. I had to spend $50 on my own cleaning supplies to try to get rid of the smell it didn't work my sheets had blood on them I had to buy my own clean sheets the toilet was always clogging up have to buy your own tolliet paper there's always drug addicts asking for money and cigarettes there was a drunk guy looking in my room the first day asking for cigarettes I keep getting bit up by bugs or something this place need closed down there taking advantage of people in need”

“I've only been here one night so far, but I have to say I am impressed. While the decor may be a bit dated, the property is well kept, very clean, and very quiet. Located just off the turnpike, there are many choices in eateries and in shopping. We are close to downtown Strongsville, which is a cute community. The metroparks is within walking distance, and the motel itself is located up a little hill and when I look out my window I see woods and a small fire pit. This is just a very nice place; not a no tell motel, this is more like a small apartment complex. I recommend it highly.”
