“Proximity to Cleveland Clinic is great, staff is friendly and helpful. The room was not great. First issue was the blind, it was off its track and not functioning. I fixed it but why would housekeeping leave it like that? There was a tissue box with only three tissues for show, why? The mini-fridge was so loud that we had to unplug it. The bed was the worst part. Hard, lumpy and pokey like the springs were popping out. We did not sleep well if at all. And the final insult was the slimy scrambled eggs. Will not be staying here again.”

“I recently stayed here while in town to watch the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. New York Knicks game with my brother and my son, and unfortunately our experience was terrible. When we got back from the game late at night, our room key would not work. We went downstairs and no one was at the front desk for about 20 minutes. When someone finally showed up (I believe his name was John), he tried for almost an hour to get our door open and was unsuccessful. He had to call multiple people for help, and in the end, we still couldn’t get into our room. They gave us another room for the night, but all of our belongings were locked inside the original room. That was extremely inconvenient and frustrating after a long night. We were told maintenance would fix it at 7:30 AM, but no one notified us when the room was ready. I had to go downstairs myself to ask for an update before we were finally able to retrieve our belongings. Because of this situation, I had to miss work. I asked for a refund or at least a discount due to the horrible experience. I was told I had to wait for management at 10 AM, but I couldn’t because I had to leave for work. They took my number and said they would call me when management arrived — and no one ever did. Very disappointing experience. I will not be staying here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“We absolutely LOVE the Tru by Hilton hotels. Between the fact that not only have we stayed in multiple locations but literally completely different states and yet they're always so clean, safe parling lots, secured entrance at night that requires your room key to get into the main entrance for security purposes. They have a way better breakfast options than majority of hotels that serve hot/cold meals. The amenities are so nice, clean, and updated as well. They're definitely worth the price and I recommend this hotel chain over just about any other one ive ever stayed at.”
