Wyndham Cleveland Airport: Cleveland Hotel Guide

“I parked there. For a weeks trip. The website said park here and we drop off and pick up. I drove up during a snow storm. Got up there a little late. The back door was propped open with a wet floor sign. And little direction to the lobby. The bus was at the airport when I finally found my way to the front. The van got back to the hotel the lady driver was very nice and got me to air port quickly. The van is in very rough shape. It was snowing. The heat wasn't working very well, it was dirty inside, and it had a smell. It is also being held together with duck tape. Dash lights are on. To say it needs serviced is an understatement. This didn't borther. My real problem is they didn't have anyone to pick me up from the airport. I was told they didn't have anyone to pick me up and to use Uber. The front desk said they would reimburse me, but I dont have Uber. And I parked there because it was a guarantee. I was than given a phone number to another hotel Wyndham's sister hotel. LaQuinta. The driver was wonderful. The van was clean, reliable and warm. In transport. The diver informed me the hotels are not infact sister hotels. And Wyndham often says this when they fall short. I felt tricked and couldn't believe that Wyndham would put another company in a position where we both were misled. I apologized to the driver. Wyndham and LaQuinta are not affiliated. I will never recommend or park at Wyndham for an reason. Candice”

“Very quiet, convenient location, close to downtown and the airport. Offers a shuttle as well. Beautiful lobby, nice little bar, friendly and helpful staff. Hallways always smelled clean. Shower had great water pressure. Room was warm and cozy considering there was a blizzard outside. Only complaints were that the towels were old, the shower curtain was dirty, and the beds are a little stiff. Id stay again though, but maybe bring my own blanket.”

“Parked my car here thru an airport parking app that has agreement with the hotel. Very disappointing experience. Flew back into town last Sunday evening, called for a shuttle pickup and was informed both shuttles were down and I had to find my own way back to the hotel. Fired up my rideshare app to get back to the hotel. Went to the front desk upon arrival and was informed that the manager would reach out to me later to see about getting me a refund on my parking fees. I left my name, widespread fee and contact info with the front desk. Waited over a week and didn't hear a peep from anyone. Called up the hotel and asked for a manager, the person asked how they could help me. I explained the situation and he put me on hold for a minute and came back stating the shuttle service was complimentary and he could do nothing. Apparently he was not the manager from a week ago that made that statement so I reiterated what was said to me and he said the shuttle was complimentary again and that maybe the front desk employee I talked to misunderstood. Very frustrating interaction with the staff at this hotel. If you are going to team up with an airport parking service to provide the parking and shuttle service portions you should make sure that both portions are covered or that in my mind is false advertising and a failure to meet the expectations of the contract all parties agreed to.”
