Went with 2 adult 3 kids. 10 and under. It's a cheap place. So that's the plus. There is a pool. Was not freezing but still chilly. My child kept telling me she kept finding chunks of hair. Every once in a while they would bring out pool towels, not often. They were the size of a small hand towel. Like could not even wrap around a 4 year old small child. There is a a hot tub- which has a sign that says for 18 and older. Which was a downfall for our kids. It's not very hot at all. Had adult couples literally riding each other in it with others in the hot tub. Zero discretion for children. I would say that is outside of the hotels control.. but still. Gross. There were screaming arguments with the f word being yelled about the hot tub when kids got kicked out. I do believe it should be up to the parent of the supervised children. All the kids there were supervised with parents right by them. I would have switched hotels to where the kids can go in anything. Instead of being cold from the pool and then using a hand towel to dry off. The room. Very dark. Two lamps plus a floor lamp. And a light by the door. Not including bathroom. Standing lamp didn't really work. Light by the door also dark Dirty window ledge/ windows. I felt like the bedding was clean. The lamp was a bit ripped up. The bathroom was not bad. Pretty standard for a regular hotel. The downside of the bathroom had zero hot water on the first day we were there. Tried multiple times for showers at different times of the day and never ended up getting hot. The hot tub was also not getting hot. Like Luke Lukewarm bath water. Next day, someone must have fixed something because the water was then able to get extremely hot in the bathroom. Could not comment on hot tub since we no longer visited it. I would not book here again, for the fact of the pool hot tub rules ( which for how many families with smaller kids booked there, I would think they could adjust to supervision) and just the cleanliness feeling. They touch everything. To each there own though. If you were not planning on being at the hotel for anything other than sleeping. Okay. If you had to stay for extended hours.. next. Location: only like 4 blocks from lake Erie! So you could drive to hunnington beach area which I thought was cool. And only a short drive to the MTB park.

My son and I stayed recently for a hockey tournament, from Thursday night through Sunday morning. Our room was missing a curtain, the covering on the desk chair was falling apart, and the bedside clock was 20 minutes fast (you could not fix it yourself without a screwdriver). The window ledge was covered in dead gnats and flies. No one serviced our room the entire time were there. No bed changes, no fresh towels, no cups. The breakfast staff was rude. I sent my son to get breakfast while I showered our first morning and they turned him away. They complained loudly and constantly about guests every morning, either messes they made or food they did not finish. Half of the parents on our team had at least one or more mornings where their names were not on the list to get in. Rather than offering to help, they sent them to the front desk. There were a few positives. The hotel's sales rep was wonderfully accommodating when we needed to add a night to our stay at the last minute. The front desk and bar staff were friendly and kind. Every interaction with them was wonderful. The pool was also nice and a lot of fun.

We choose this hotel time and time again. The people working at the front desk are amazing. They're very accommodating, understanding, and helpful. Restaurant staff are wonderful. We never have a issues. Pool is spacious, hot tub is always nice, and the rooms are great too.
