What reviewers say about Dagu Rice Noodle
“Everything was great in the place. There was no wait and server was really nice. Talks a little too fast but nice. Son got the beef brisket rice dish and came out in a nice golden tray/dish. Looks great. Wife and I got the soup and the way they served the soups kept it nice and hot the whole time we were eating. Beware the soup is mouth ripping soul cleansing hot. Taro and milk teas are good too.”
“(2025 Update) YYTime (formerly known as Dagu) is an excellent example of consistency. The location can change, the name can change, but over these many years the food quality has never changed. It even gets better with the extended menu. Normally restaurants don't do well when they expand their menu selection, but YYTime just gives me more reasons to love and keep coming back. The new braised items and BBQ options are delicious and great for big groups. Now I can come here for any occasion - quick trip for boba and snack, small meal for lunch, or big family dinner. ---- (2021 update) Before covid19, this was my favorite to-go spot. I would usually come for a bowl of noodle after a long work day. The staff is very friendly and the food is super delicious. I love most of their menu items, especially the noodle with bone-in beef or fish slice. Since covid19, they updated their milk tea menu extensively and it has become my favorite place to grab snack & desert. Brown sugar milk tea, matcha, oolong milk tea adding a bunch of toppings such as boba, tofu pudding, taro balls are to crave for. Side a boba tea with their pumpkin pancake, fried sticky rice, chicken wings or sliced beef in chilly oil and it's the most perfect snack ever.”
“This location in Cleveland is on the corner, just a stone's throw from the Asian mall and Asian groceries at Park to Shop. It is very nice looking inside, very clean, and seems spacious inside. A curious, pleasant smell of food cooking wafted all around that I did not recognize. The drink menu listed many different boba teas, milk teas, and different mixes. The Taro was very good, even better than I've had anywhere. The Dagu coffee milk tea was quite strong and on the bitter side, not too friendly for a good first impression. The food menu was not easy to understand as English was used sparsely, and it was not that similar to the generic Asian menus you see everywhere. So, my daughter picked from one of the pictures, and it turned out to be quite a lot, and different than anything I've had. It was like a pot of soup actually boiling with cabbage and meat. Noodles and rice were presented as well. My wife picked a pork dish that came breaded with some other vegetables which she chose, and also some spices and sauce which were very tasty with the meat and rice. It was a unique and pleasant experience for us, and all three of us had plenty to eat from the 2 food orders.”
