I don't know what happened to this place. It used to be really good. Last night though, my husband and I waited 30 minutes for our drinks and then another hour for our cold meals. The "C.A.B." NY strip he ordered was definitely NOT C.A.B! And my "6oz" lobster tail was maybe 2 oz. I attached a picture and that was taken before a single bite was taken. That was the whole meal they were charging $40 for. The mashed potatoes they slopped under it were slimy and tasted leftover/ microwaved. I complained about the size of tail and they brought me an additional 2 oz tail that was overcooked and tasted reheated. It was dry, rubbery, and even crispy on the sides. It seemed like it had been sitting around in a warmer for a long time. This was one of the most disappointing meals I've ever had in a restaurant and I’m still so angry about the wasted money.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here the other night, and everything was absolutely perfect. We were seated in a cozy, tucked-away spot overlooking the dining room which was quiet, intimate, and peaceful. The ideal setting for a special evening. Our waitress was outstanding - attentive, friendly, and perfectly timed with everything. The food was exceptional from start to finish. We started with the Brussels sprouts, which were incredible. They were perfectly cooked with pine nuts, bacon, and a touch of maple syrup. It’s easy to get Brussels sprouts wrong, but these were phenomenal! For our main course, we had the filet mignon and the New York strip steak, both cooked to perfection. The vegetables and potatoes complemented the steaks beautifully, and we left feeling full and satisfied. To top off the evening, the staff surprised us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate our 4th anniversary, which was a delicious slice of cheesecake that was the perfect finishing touch. Their thoughtfulness really made our night special. Despite the restaurant serving several large parties that evening, service was smooth and timely. Our waitress checked in often without being intrusive. The wine list is also excellent, they offer some fantastic Cabernet Sauvignons that pair perfectly with a steak dinner. Overall, we had a truly wonderful experience and would highly recommend this restaurant for an elegant dinner or any special occasion. It’s not only a beautiful dining experience, but the place also has some fascinating history worth reading about!

The filet mignon was to die for tender as could be and cooked to perfection! The French onion soup was delicious. The mashed potatoes were a little cold and hard, but that is the only thing I can find a complain about. If you go between lunch and 5:00 dinner you will have to go downstairs to the pub to eat.
