Astra Rooftop: Cleveland Restaurant Guide

The is the best HH in columbus. We had some great drinks and appetizers. Our waiter was friendly helpful and always checked on us and had some great recommendations. We ordered ribs, shrimp and whipped ricotta. All three were excellent. We really like the pork start and espresso martini. Excellent place in AC hotel. Vaso at Dublin has a lot to learn from this place

This rooftop bar was a total vibe! To start off the appearance of this bar was absolutely gorgeous. The dim lighting decoration and smiling faces were so nice to see. They had fast service. We didn’t wait for our food for more than 20 minutes. Exotic drinks were served and Our waiter Jayden was so kind to us. Definitely would Recommend to family and friends and will definitely be back!!

My sister and I went this weekend and had a nice time. The atmosphere is great and the service impeccable, drinks were decent but nothing memorable either, however I’m writing this review because the food was super bland. I’m not one to be picky about food either. We ordered the cheese fries as an app and I was starving and even given that they just had no flavor. The cheese sauce was like a watery white queso that you get at a Mexican restaurant. Wendy’s cheese fries are better serious lol. I’ve honestly never had cheese fries done wrong. I also got the green goddess wedge salad and 1. It wasn’t much of a wedge and was more leafy and 2. I think the green goddess dressing just wasn’t my cup of tea. I also added shrimp and although it was cooked well there was just no flavor to the shrimp at all… my sister got the NY strip steak frites and once again there was very little flavor to it. It tasted like an unseasoned pork chop. The butter on top was the only redeeming seasoning to make it some flavor other than just the meat. I just was shocked there aren’t more reviews about the food being subpar but maybe it was just that night and what we ordered? The Photo Booth was also out of service for hours but they finally got it running again. I’d happily give this place a second chance again and this time order more of their signature drinks and entrees. I’m sure those ones are better but they should improve their other items on the menu. Very pretty colors and decor. The patio in the spring/summer seems lovely so we will give their food another try then. Our server was also great. Oh and the music was a little too loud but you could still hear well enough. Valet was easy to find and park.

They didn't have reservations for 7pm Saturday when I looked online but we still went and tried our luck. We went in and put our name in line and waited for 15 mins to get a table. It was pretty decent! We enjoyed the atmosphere overall. We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Mini Sandos, Bang Bang Shrimp and Deviled eggs and a N/A drink. Our fave was the mini sando. The deviled eggs could use some more 'pickle' flavor.

What truly elevated the experience, though, was our server, Lucy. Lucy was phenomenal—warm, attentive, and genuinely excited about us being there to celebrate. She guided us perfectly, offering thoughtful recommendations. You could tell she knew the food well and cared about making sure we enjoyed our night. She struck that perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness, and it made the entire meal feel even more memorable. Astra is beautiful, delicious, and impeccably run. Between the ambiance, the food, and Lucy’s outstanding service, it’s the kind of place you think about long after you’ve left—and the kind you can’t wait to return to.
