I have been going to Bloodview for over 30 years.I look forward to going every year. Last year I started taking my kids when they were both 11 and we had a great experience. Last night was our first terrible experience. One of my sons never wants to go to a haunted house again. When we were walking through the wooded area a woman with pink hair that’s covering her blonde hair, cheek piercings in both of her cheeks, and a spider web tattoo on her neck put her hand through my 12 year old sons hair and pulled him by the sleeve towards a secluded area. I yelled for her not to touch him and she said “we don’t care”. I pulled my son back. She then touched my hair. A few minutes later she was running towards us so I put my arm across my chest in self defense and she ran right into me and then pushed me in the chest with both of her hands and yelled at me not to touch her. I did not touch that woman, she touched me and my son. We left the area and complained to the guy that uses a cain, unfortunately I did not get his name. He gave me a refund and offered to show us the makeup area where volunteers get ready. We did that and I appreciate that he was trying to end things on a good note but my kids aren’t afraid of the costumes. They understand it’s dress up and for fun. We are a family that loves Halloween, scary movies and we used to love haunted houses. The problem was this woman who thought she could put her hands on us. She doesn’t have the PATIENCE, personality, or understanding of how to treat customers. I found her behavior alarming. Where was she taking my son?? MoLESTER vibes. I hope she is never welcome to volunteer there again or any other haunted house because she doesn’t not know how to act. ACTORS SHOULD NEVER BE TOUCHING CUSTOMERS!! We won’t be going back there thanks to her. I added a star for the way the situation was handled by the man with the cain but I hope that there were repercussions for the woman as he did not tell me how he would handle the situation with her.
5 months agoWe got steamrolled by unruly teenagers multiple times in the 1.5 hour long line. It consistently smelled like weed and I watched someone openly roll a blunt and smoke it behind us. The house was not worth the money, wait or people constantly running into us while just waiting. Plenty of other way better houses.
4 months agoAffordable, worth the time. Some scary spots. Bring a jacket. Get the fast pass.
5 months agoI went here like the first weekend and it was pretty good. The lines were kind of messed up, but there was nobody there so it didn’t really matter and we never ran into one group in the haunted houses. Everything was timed out good and there were a lot of actors and even though they had some poor lines and were mostly kids. it was kind of fun and cringe at the same time so I returned for the zombie weekend because I love zombies and I wanted to see what they did with the place. Well they fixed the lines which was cool and we went up to the first haunted house and the girl basically let us go right behind these two girls that were so scared to go in so basically we were on top of them the whole time and they got scared the whole time and in that whole first haunted house I didn’t see one actor so I think there was only one actor in that haunted house scaring the people in front of us yet I never got scared or saw one person. It was the most upsetting thing that I paid for. after that haunted house you go into the woods, barely saw anybody and these girls are literally making everybody wait for them because they’re scared so we get some distance between them and there’s like five people in the woods at the end of the trail wow so scary and cool. Then we go into the next haunted house and it was more funner and that’s depressing that all the actors were basically in one haunted house yet you paid for the whole experience, which was not worth $20. I was really upset by this.
4 months agoI would say it is worth the price could use a little more actors though. But overall a good experience got scared a couple times when they jumped out at you. The clowns had good makeup and played in full character
