I went here with a very close friend and her son. We had a great time following the trails near the falls. We plan to visit again when it's warmer and we can hit other areas of the valley.
5 months agoA beautiful close-up view of the falls! You don’t need to hike—just a few steps from the parking area. I actually wanted to see the fall colors, but by November 1st, most of the leaves had already fallen.
4 months agoAmazing waterfall. There are a few paths that take you near the Falls, one in front and one above. Neither one is a very long walk. Highly recommend checking this out if you visit the park. Parking is very limited so probably better to go early, I got lucky and someone was leaving when I was looking for a spot.
4 months agoThe falls were in full force today after the recent rains. Brandywine Falls are a hilight to visiting the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The falls gets crowded on weekends but there were not that many people on a Friday afternoon. It is a short hike to the falls. If you go to the lower viewing platform, you need to navigate two sets of stairs, about 32 steps each. Great views from both the top and lower platform.
