CLE Vintage: Cleveland Furniture Store Guide

A vintage interiors collector, I couldn't wait to visit CLE Vintage, and was completely blown away - by the size, variety, and quality of their incredibly curated (and quickly moving) inventory, with must-have gems from my favorite local vendors (Evy Lena), a phenomenal mid-century modern furniture collection, and the friendly, charming, kind owner Steve. CLE Vintage is the best place around to source authentic vintage pieces for your home, and the magical hometown store you don't know how you lived without - on my first visit, I became the luckiest owner of a rare, gorgeous, 1960s American of Martinsville pickled oak chinoiserie tall dresser (after months of fruitless local searching), among other treasures, within my budget and the dresser delivered to my door, for free. I'm still pinching myself. I can't wait to go back. Make your weekend, and year, with a visit - CLE Vintage will elevate not only your home, but your life!

We cannot say enough good things about CLE Vintage. The shop itself is filled with incredible refinished MCM masterpieces. We were on the hunt for a credenza and china cabinet for our diningroom and came across a Broyhill Saga set that was perfect and at a very fair price--especially compared to other local places where we saw comparable sets. Steve was super helpful and made the process incredibly easy. By the end of it we were like family. In fact, Steve, if you see a bedroom set you like set it aside so we can furnish your room, buddy! Delivery was FREE, seamless, and within a week. We also walked out with some awesome green Morgantown votive holders. They have us as customers for life!

I am furnishing the apartment of my CEO and knew I needed a statement piece for the living area that would stop people in their tracks. We'll CLE Vintage had just that! These RCA cabinets are rare to find in working condition. From the player itself, to the beautifully restored wood, this cabinet has perfect written all over it. Working with the staff was a thoroughly enjoyable expereince and the passion they have for their craft is obvious. Delivery went seamlessly and the followup customer service went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. Happy to report it had the intended effect and guests do in fact stop in their tracks and their faces light up when they see such an iconic peice of history. I will be going back for dressers for my own home and I can't reccomend them enough for anything you may want/need at price points for all budgets.

CLE Vintage is INCREDIBLE! I can’t say enough about how friendly, inviting, kind, personable, and friendly that Steve & the CLE Vintage team are! And not only are Steve and the team the absolute best, but the furniture is SO GREAT too! The CLE Vintage team curates fabulous pieces and the pricing is so reasonable for the quality furniture and the “welcome to the family” experience. My husband I found CLE Vintage a couple of months ago and Steve has helped us to try and find very specific MCM furniture pieces that we’ve been looking for. And whether he found the pieces, or we did, he’s been happy to refinish and reupholster either way. We’re still hunting for 2 more chairs to get our dining set to 6, but he got us our table and the 4 chairs we’ve found so far delivered in time for Thanksgiving (and the delivery is just INCLUDED in the Vintage CLE experience!!!). The upholstery on the chairs is AMAZING (Steve & Marikate suggested a great fabric and it looks fantastic), and we genuinely couldn’t be happier. My husband & I are totally Vintage CLE lifers now (any furniture need, we’ll be heading there), and we feel like we not only met an out-of-this-world furniture guru in Steve, but we feel like we made a friend too. Run, don’t walk, to CLE Vintage for all of your MCM furniture needs!!!!!

Don’t sleep on CLE Vintage! Whether you’re local or not (I’m not - CBus), it is well worth the visit. MCM lover? You must go. So much amazing stuff from smalls and glassware to absolutely show stopper furniture pieces. You will want everything…trust me. Just go see for yourself! Amazing store, awesome owner. Go support them!
