Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Tower: Cleveland Hotel Guide

I stayed here over the weekend and had an amazing experience. It was my first time in Cleveland, and this hotel (and the staff at the hotel made it unforgettable. The property itself was great, but I especially want to give a huge shout-out to Nolan and Willie at the lobby bar. They were absolutely incredible! They were consistently welcoming, friendly, and genuinely awesome every time I stopped by. They gave some great recommendations for my tone in cleveland. I left with great memories and can’t wait to come back. :)

Great stay at Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Tower. I stayed for a full week, including training sessions in the event/reception rooms, and everything was very well organized. The food was excellent throughout the stay, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable with good amenities. Only minor downside for me: the bathroom had a bathtub converted into a shower rather than a proper walk-in shower. Also, slippers in the room would have been a nice touch (not sure if that’s common in US hotels). Overall, a very pleasant and professional experience — would definitely stay again.

First and foremost I would like to say shoutout Tanisha who checked us in. She was just a lovely woman and got us checked in and into the M club and explained everything about the hotel super efficiently and was friendly. This hotel is great because you can always just look up for the key and find your way home. Also, the bar area along with the barber shop just give off good vibes. The M club was a great perk here with snacks and breakfast and hors d’œuvres were lovely. Great selection the variety of kettle chips was a nice touch and I’m a sucker for chocolate covered peanuts so that was a big hit. The room was okay, a little older but was well kept up and clean. Overall definitely recommend! We had a decent view of the football stadium from our room too as an added bonus.

What can I say about this place!!!! Excellent and I mean absolutely excellent front desk service. Starting off with Gerald I believe the gentleman name on nights. Extremely nice and informative. Days Rich help fix 2 small issues but again was excellent. The room we stayed in was the king suite with fireplace absolutely relaxing and big!!! Highly recommend! The water pressure in the shower was excellent. I would stay in this hotel 10/10 times over!!!

We couldn’t be more pleased with our daughter’s wedding reception at the Marriott Key Center. ✨ From start to finish, the entire Marriott team went above and beyond our expectations. Their attention to detail and the ease with which everything came together made the evening truly unforgettable. A huge thank-you to Melanie and the entire team — Cal, Kathleen, Courtney, DJ, Matt, Mary — and so many others. Every single person we encountered was friendly, helpful, professional, and wonderful to work with. We are so grateful for the care and excellence that made our daughter’s reception absolutely lovely. 💛✨
