We went to this particular zoo bc we love conservation and Jack Hanna. It took two days to really appreciate the entirety of it. As always, kinda pricey, but with add ons and being an aza member the tickets were half price. Absolutely loved the polar bears and feeding the 🦒.

I’ve been twice now, once for a regular visit and once for the Christmas lights - I’d highly recommend both! They have some wonderful exhibits and animals. Personal highlights for me would be the manta ray pool where you can feed and feel them (!!!), and the brown bears and reptile house(s). They have their animals split into areas of the world, and they have an amazing number of reptiles/lizards/amphibians - probably the best I’ve seen! The Christmas lights were excellent, virtually the whole park was covered and the light show, done to music and was free, was great fun. It’s a really good way to kick off Christmas - their hot chocolate was to die for too - perfect for a chilly night walk!

I love that they offer discounted tickets for locals during the off season. Got to spend the day with my son this recent Presidents’ Day since we were both off and even with a decent amount of the sections closed due to the season we still didn’t have enough time to see everything because there was so much available. Can’t wait to take him again during the summer and see what we missed.

My boys saw the reindeer and I saw the stingrays... daughter saw the manatees. ... we've probably been here 20x or so since my children laid feet on this earth.. ... this eve we all just separated and leisurely strolled the grounds... me taking pics and vids for my Google review... I dont move like I used to... but I power walked up to north anerica... got past the reindeer and turned around... had a drink had a snack looked for rando christmas presents (which I found hot sizzling honey and raspberry honey for my boys... a little snowman on clearance for myself... girl got a new stuffed manatee... nice time had by all... no stress no trying to see something each person wanted to see... Went for Zoo Lights as a part of a student group at OSU. It was so fun and magical! The lights were very impressive and so fun to check out. There were animals in indoor exhibits, which was a nice break from the cold and honestly my favorite part. The nocturnal animals building, baby elephants and manta rays were my favorite of the indoor exhibits. Defenitly worth checking out. I know tickets can be pricey, so reccomend looking for discounts or other deals if you're going to go!
