Comfort Inn Splash Harbor: Cleveland Hotel Guide

We just returned from a stay, and if you have kids, this is the place to be. It isn't a luxury five-star resort, but it hits exactly the right notes for a stress-free family getaway. Highly recommended! ​The Main Event: The Water Park ​The pool area is the absolute star of the show. ​The Waterslide: Fast enough to be thrilling for the older kids but safe enough that I wasn't worried. ​The Splashpark: Perfect for the little ones who aren't quite ready for the big pool yet. The tipping buckets and sprayers kept them entertained for hours. ​Safety: The area was well-maintained, and there were plenty of fresh towels available. ​Room & Accommodations ​The rooms are definitely basic, so don't expect high-end decor or fancy gadgets. However, they were spotlessly clean, which is much more important to me when traveling with a family. The beds were comfortable, and there was enough space to stow away all our gear without feeling claustrophobic. ​Dining & Service ​Breakfast: The "Continental Plus" breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Usually, these can be a bit sad, but this one had plenty of options that kids actually like. ​The Staff: Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping team was incredibly friendly.

Rooms are clean, and the pool is mostly clean. The arcade is really fun and my four year old loves the games and the water slide! This is a perfect place to take your kids! It’s pretty cheap as well compared to other places. This was our third year going and we always have fun. We will continue this tradition.

After a huge snowstorm, our 2 and 4 year old kids needed an energy release and this was the perfect little staycation! We got a room for Saturday night and our friends got a room as well and we added the extra “day pass” allowing use of the pool area until 6pm instead of the 11am check out (which i highly recommend as we were the only occupants!). The front desk staff was very helpful and sweet, everything was clean and i watched them come in to test the water as well as add chemicals in the evening after the pool was closed for the day. This will definitely be something we do once or twice a season. I will add, Der Dutchman is right next door and makes for an easy, delicious dinner as they offer the buffet for $1.49/year of age for kids over 2 and it is free for 2 year olds! Pack snacks, drinks, pool shoes, swimsuit, and board games for the evening and you will have a blast! 10/10 recommend!

Splash Harbor is a small but fun indoor waterpark that our family truly enjoys. We go every year, and it’s become a little tradition for us. While it’s not a large park, it has just enough to keep kids entertained—a water slide, a splash pad, and two hot tubs. I really appreciate that there’s one hot tub for adults only and another that allows children, which is a nice balance for families. The hotel room was clean, and whoever cleaned our room went the extra mile by leaving the towels folded into cute designs, which was such a thoughtful touch. The only downside is that it can get crowded, especially during busy times. Overall, it’s a great spot for a fun, family-friendly getaway.

My family and I had a great time here. The staff was very friendly and made sure we had a great stay. The room, pool and bathrooms were very clean. However, I know this isn't the hotels fault but I wish there was more supervision at the pool. There were about 15 pre teen boys rough housing a lot in the pool and not aware of their surroundings. I had to talk to two boys for almost trampling my little 8 year old. Once they cleared out, a lot of the other guest were able to enjoy the pool. Great place for a stay-cation.
