Just opened! The Cleveland Metroparks did an amazing job adding this bridge, trail and overlook to the park naturescape! From Cleveland Metroparks "The mile-long Eastern Ledge Trail features a mix of paved and natural surface trails, a suspension bridge over Euclid Creek, and access to one of the Emerald Necklace’s most scenic vistas at an overlook 130 feet above Euclid Creek and the valley below. The trail can be accessed near the Welsh Wood Picnic Area off of Euclid Creek Parkway. The trail also offers a first-time connection to the city of Richmond Heights off Donna Drive near Highland Road."
3 years agoThey have added a Bridge at this location that crosses Euclid Creek. This is a stunning experience. Not for CHILDREN. BEWARE.
10 months agoGreat view, albeit there is a fence now…meh! (Archived “sans fence, viewing platform, suspension bridge, stairs etc”) photos captured prior to the locale called, “Eastern Ledges.”
3 years agoDefinitely nice. But the dirt road is always wet. And the untreated rails makes me wonder how long these will last
2 years agoLove the new suspension bridge that connects Richmond Heights to the Euclid Creek park. The workers did an amazing job. The views from the top are some of the best in this area. I have watched the progression of fall from the top. It was inspiring and breathtaking. I love, love our Metropark System.
