Float The River: Cleveland Services Guide

Staff was nice and very friendly, especially when I had to change my time to later in the day. We did tandem kayaks and it was actually a lot of fun. Very peaceful and sunny day. Saw lots of little critters and overall a perfect time! River was shallow in some places and got stuck on some rocks but honestly, just made for a funny situation more than anything. 10/10 experience!

Last year, we had our first kayaking experience on the Cuyahoga River with Float the River, and it couldn’t have been better. They made the trip both fun and safe, giving us the chance to experience the river in a whole new way. I’d been wanting to take my kiddo out, and I’m so glad we chose FTR—they guided us through a safe and enjoyable stretch of the river. Following them since has also helped us learn how to tell when conditions are right for kayaking, which will be super helpful once we have our own gear. Until then (and probably even after), we’ll keep using FTR—and recommending them to all our friends!

I enjoyed the river but wish it was longer. Pricing was 88 for 3 ppl is high, why aren't you open on week days. Also u need changing station

A fantastic way to spend a lazy afternoon. Grab 10 of your friends, load up the cars with your favorite snacks and beverages, hop on an inner tube, and enjoy lazily floating down the mighty Cuyahoga River! They have two types..one with an open bottom and the other is solid if you don’t want to dip your butt in the water. They also have cooler floats for all your drinks, snacks, and other stuff. Price is pretty reasonable and you can have your entire group linked together. You will have a blast!

We had a blast! Very organized getting to and from the minute we parked. Easy to tune and we are planning to go back with our 10 and 14 year old. No hard coolers, but spring the $15 cooler raft to keep all your stuff in (dry bags, water shoes, etc).
