Newly redone stairs, yes it’s a bit of a “breathtaking” view at the top, but worth the work! Take your time and enjoy the views, trail connects at the back to other trails. Always good to bring water or drinks to keep hydrated. At the top not far from the stairs is the ancient peoples ruins, look out of the sign board with more info.
a year agoI love the Fort Hill loop trail and West Pond loop trail. I usually catch the trailhead at Cedar Point Rd in Lewis Rd. It's gravel trail with lots of loops. The views do not disappoint at sunrise. There can be quite a few dogs off leash.so beaware.
4 months agoSo lucky to have such a gorgeous spot so close to the city! Make sure to check out the birding trail; it's beautiful and pretty quiet even when the other trails are crowded.
3 years agoBeautiful view of the Rocky river from these 155 steps structure. Great trails. Great colors in fall. Wonderful nature center.
