Gardenview Horticultural Park: Cleveland Botanical Garden Guide

It is a peaceful, hidden, unexpected wooded, green gem in an otherwise over-developed and busy city. It is in an almost back-to-nature state due to lack of enough people to work on its flower beds and gardens, which is part of its charm. It would be a perfect project for a garden club, Master-gardener-certificate aspiring students, Church and community groups, and anybody interested in volunteering time and sweat to make it more appealing to the public at large.

We have this gem of an all season botanical English garden with water features and canopy walk among the businesses of Strongsville and it's the best kept secret! Bring a picnic, a book, a blanket, your camera or a group bc you can easily spend an hour roaming around in nature. There are paths studded with fruit trees, flowering trees, unique flora and beautiful baskets. Jim takes his precious time to garden the acres but they need more help! Do yourself a favor and spend the $5 for a much needed walk!

Delightful to discover this island of beauty in the midst of suburban commercial nothingness. I hope the community will give Gardenview the support it deserves. I am a Cleveland resident but plan to become a member and do what I can.

Only regret was my visit wasn’t earlier in the season. Pretty gardens that are easy to stroll and take photos. Plenty of spaces to sit & rest in the gardens. The park also has some water features including two small ponds and a quaint bridge.

Visited the park for the first time and was so impressed with the beauty! Amazing to think that it is in such a busy area but, feels like miles away. The grounds are created with love and care with hidden spots for a picnic or a painting spot. Will going back soon to see all the flowers blooming.
