Great Lakes Brewing Company Tasting Room: Cleveland Brewery Guide

As soon as my [then] fiancé and I toured GLBC event space, we knew immediately that we wanted to book this space. This was because the space had a historical and industrial look that we really liked as well as being a brewery that is one of our favorites. When meeting with Shannon at the initial tour, she provided us with a handout that informed us of all of the information that we would need - wedding and/or reception layout, food options, alcohol options, room layout, and additional services (decoration package, champagne toast, etc.). The information package was extremely detailed and informed us of what we would potentially need for the venue space as well as recommendations of other vendors that we could reach out to. All of the above criteria convinced us that this was the event space we needed for our wedding. Shannon and her team have worked together for a few years and it shows. They are extremely professional, dedicated to the staff and guests, and ready to assist as they are able. For example, we had made artificial flower arrangements for the tables and we were concerned family would have to assist with the placement of this on the day of the wedding due to the schedule. Due to the pre-made arrangements and detailed list of where they would go, Shannon and her team assisted in the organization of the decorations. This goes above and beyond what an event coordinator of an event space does and we are very appreciative that Shannon was willing to help us with this on the day of our wedding. During the event, the staff also went above and beyond for us. The staff also assisted at the end of the night (with our families) to clear the tables of decorations as well as grabbing additional desserts for us to enjoy at a later time. If you want a staff that provides great communication, excellent preparation, ease of transition, and helpful actions, GLBC is the place to book! We cannot praise the staff enough for everything they did for us. Please consider Shannon and her team if you want to have an amazing wedding!

We had the most incredible experience at the Great Lake Brewery Tasting Room for our wedding! From the delicious food to the fresh, flavorful beer, every aspect exceeded our expectations. The service was simply amazing - friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Coordinating our special day was a breeze, thanks to Shannon & Linda - who made the process easy and enjoyable. The venue itself is uniquely charming and provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration. We couldn't have asked for a better place to say 'I do.' Highly recommend!

Always a pleasure to walk here and stand outside and have a beer when the weather cooperates… They have been stepping up their beer game recently and adding new styles, love the hazy beers and as well as the juice forward beers Good has always been good so it’s a no brainer to stop and visit this summer

The Great Lakes Brewing Company Tasting Room was our dream wedding venue! We hosted both our ceremony and reception in the space. We received so many compliments on the food, including the late-night pierogies! Shannon was amazing to work with - she was so friendly from the first time we met and was extremely knowledgeable about the space. She was one of the biggest reasons we booked this venue over others! Shannon even made sure we had drinks and apps brought to us during cocktail hour. Great Lakes and Shannon handled so much, from vendors to catering to drinks, to enable us to truly enjoy our wedding without worrying about the logistics!

We had a company party here and it was the perfect venue for us! We had 30 people and it was plenty of space but still felt cozy and intimate. Shannon and the team were excellent throughout the process! We plan to have our next event here too!
