Hermes Sports & Events: Cleveland Services Guide

Everything went smooth. Had a great run plenty of signage for the trails. Nice big bathrooms inside. Friendly staff. My only complaint = Need a 1mile left sign at every race..

Before hermes ask for $35 for a race again make sure the mens bathrooms are not locked and the womens bathrooms have toilet paper.. Tbe mothers day run at crocker park was bad news. No excuses hermes. None. There may have been other bathrooms open in crocker park but the ones closest to the race were not. At any other race done by hermes those bathrooms were open. Shameful and disorganized.

Horribly run volleyball league. No communication. They cancelled one of our games 10 minutes after it was supposed to start even though it was raining all day. And he didn’t cancel via text, phone call, or email. I had to run in the rain down the path to ask him in person if we were gonna play or reschedule. The next time it rained all day I texted and emailed them 3 hours ahead of time asking for a proper notice of cancelation. I didn’t get a response to my text or email. Then he calls and texts me 3 minutes after game time (from a different number that was never given to me) asking if my team is showing up. Yeah dude the number in your email signature is wrong and you didn’t respond to my email. This is a scam “company” with a lazy coordinator. Hey Dom, If it rains all day and the forecast shows rain continues, you should be contacting people regardless of if you want the games played or not. What the hell did I pay $240 for? You don’t have refs. The least you can do is contact people if there’s a possible rainout. Contact each team leader at 8am if there’s an 11am game and say hey do you guys have enough to play? Are you good playing in the rain? Etc. I have some people on my team that I work with that have a decent drive. You’re lazy and rude.

Love/Hate relationship. Hermes is connected to some of the best road racing events. They are efficient and put on well managed races. They also controll a lot of great events, and I don't understand how prices go astronomical as the race gets closer. Just plan your calendar a sign up early.
