House from A Christmas Story: Cleveland Museum Guide

If you're an fan of a Christmas Story, this is an absolute must! The house itself is amazing, but the tour really shines thanks to Chuck. He kept it engaging with humor, trivia, and stories that made the movie come alive. It felt like stepping right into the film. Such a fun and memorable experience!

If you watch the movie every Christmas and you live in NE Ohio (or are visiting Cleveland) then this should be on your to-do list. Especially if it's between Thanksgiving and Christmas or there's snow on the ground! The owner has done a great job preserving and recreating the atmosphere and staged the rooms so you will feel like you are there! Parking was easy, either on the street or close by. The museum and gift shop across the road are also worth checking out. The museum has cool items from the movie along with various fact boards. The gift shop has everything you could want as memorabilia and the prices were fair.

The house featured in the 1983 holiday classic A Christmas Story is located at 3159 W 11th St, Cleveland, OH 44109. The Victorian home has been restored to its appearance in the film and operates as a museum that is open to the public year-round. You can do a tour of the home and even rent the home overnight. It is a popular tourist destination.

We took the tour through the house,backyard, museum that holds clothes,toys,other props from the movie and fan art. At the end we got to go to the gift shop. Our tour guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable about the movie,props and fun facts. If you are in Cleveland,I highly recommend going

Bought privately in 2004 and brought and updated to movie specifications, this tour will make you feel like you're walking through the movie. Also, it functions as an Airbnb that you can rent year-round (except the last two weeks of February when they do yearly maintenance). There are guided tours available, or you can just take pictures from out front or visit the gift shop for "a major award" leg lamp.
