Beautiful park with excellent amenities and beach access. Wonderful playground area, adjacent to picnic area, and pavilion. Many nice asphalt paved walking paths across park and overlooking lake view. Large picnic area and tables throughout. Some with charcoal grills nearby. Excellent public restrooms with individual family style locking restrooms (separate entrances). Adult bench Swings overlooking lake. Snack stand open seasonally. Pavilion has two sections - front area is first come first serve . Back section is available by payment and reservation- see images and pavilion rules sign in photos.
a year agoThis is a great park to visit both on weekdays and weekends. The view of the lake is spectacular. There is access to the beach, a picnic area, and plenty of opportunity to walk around and enjoy the scenery.
a year agoA great beach on the lake. Bonus: it doesn't close after every big rain like Edgewater. Highly recommend going after 7p as the lifeguards are wholly risk-averse and limit any sort of water activity that includes going in above your knee.
7 months agoWarm, nice bathrooms which are open year round. 8/10 clean beach. Smaller playground. Pavilion. Benches to view Lake Erie. Picnic tables. Walking and hiking trails. Free parking.
2 months agothis is quite a park. has a beach. excellent views and you wouldnt be able to tell the difference with this beach or any of the ocean beaches other than the fact that maybe the waves are smaller. there is a mythical, epic and wonderous presence to lake erie.
