Immigrant Son Brewery: Cleveland Brewery Guide

Visited with friends tonight to catch up and participate in Pierogi Week. Unfortunately the Chicken Papricas Pierogi and Rootbeer were both sold out. We enjoyed the food we did have, though the chicken was very spicy to us. Next time I would have different food, and ask not to sit on the high top chairs because they were too small for my body and some of my friends. The air quality was slightly over 1000, so air filtration would still be beneficial. Our server Ally was friendly and gave us the rundown of all the popular items.

The menu was limited and pricey. It's a niche restaurant so that's somewhat expected. No real "bar food" type menu, which was expected. I tried their Belgian Blonde which was close to Blue Moon but a little dry and sharp in comparison. I ordered the Hungarian stew and 2 wagu beef dogs. The stew was extremely flavorable and filling. It exceeded my expectations. The wagu dogs were enjoyed but a little bland. That was actually good, because the pastry that surrounded it was nice and salty. It complemented the meat quite nicely. Even though the menu was limited, everything that I saw being served looked beautifully presented. No one in our party had any complaints about their meals. Staff said the restaurant is known for its smashburgers. Had I been looking for something heavier, I would have tried one. The four star rating is based on the niche status of the restaurant. Even though the menu is a little pricey, m you get good value for the money. Unless you're a huge eater, you will be bringing food home. Since it's a brewery, the beer selection is smaller, but it looks like they have a lot of decent beers available. I'll definitely have to come back to try a few over the next year if time permits. They do have a selection of cocktails available, which I definitely need to try.

This brewery/restaurant is a must if you are in this area! The food is incredible and so is the beer. The Chicken schnitzel was amazing!

First time to Immigrant Son Brewery ! The food was delish and it was actually hard to pick between the many desirable menu items.. which means we will be back. Service was outstanding, particularly Brooke behind the bar! Good beer, great food, clean place... busy but not unpleasantly so.. very nice place, all around. We will be back to continue experiencing the rest of their menu! A+!

Wonderful food, great selection on the menu. Good beers brewed on site. He got the Chicken Paprikas with housemade spaetzel off the main menu, I had the Chicken Schnitzel Florentine off the seasonal menu. We both had the Kolsch beer. We left full and satisfied.
