Kendall Lake: Cleveland Fishing Lake Guide

Really enjoyed it. Lots of handicapped parking and paved paths for people on walkers and/or canes and travel to the lake. Seating on the fishing pier which is accessible. Lots of people on the trails around the lake, reading by the water (me), fishing and having picnics. Ranger was here and very helpful and spoke while he was doing his duties.

Beautiful lake and well maintained hiking trail. The main loop around the lake is only a mile which is nice for a short hike. It also connects to Salt Run trail which is longer and more difficult. Lots of wildlife around, if you’re lucky, you’ll see a pair of swans that hang around.

Great, snowy New Year’s Day hike to kick off the year! I always love this place!

Went on a rainy Tuesday afternoon in October. Got to the lakeside parking lot around 3pm. Started doing the Pine Grove Trail but then realized that my car was the only one in the parking lot and this area is notorious for vehicle break-ins, so just turned around. Good photos at the lake for sure, with nice fall foliage all around. The Pine Grove Trail is across Truxell Road. The rangers had advised that the Salt Run would be very slippery and muddy with all the rain, so didn't attempt that one.

Beautiful pond! You can fish there or take a walk around it. The loop is only one mile long with beautiful scenery. In spring there are TONS of frogs bubbling up in the surface. Yesterday we saw two swans swimming, they came so close to us! Breathtaking ❤️ there is also a shelter close to the parking lot with heated bathrooms and a few picnic tables!
