Lake Erie Nature & Science Center: Cleveland Park Guide

Visiting from out of town, we found this place sort of by accident. My three boys had a blast looking around at everything. The outdoor renovations are very nice, and we loved seeing all the birds. There were lots of things for my kids to touch and see. We were bummed that the whole thing was free except the planetarium shows, which were $5 per person. But honestly my kids probably wouldn’t have sat through it anyways.

This is a fun and educational spot for the whole family. We participated in the planetarium about the night sky and Vicky was the presenter. She was so funny and interactive with the kids. There was a volunteer who really took his time to talk with our son about the python he was holding. It was a heartwarming experience! Would recommend!

I love the new bird sanctuary and the beautiful space they’ve given them to live happy lives since they can’t be released back into the wild. They even cared for a little chipmunk who was injured that I brought in to their rehab center. They truly care about our local wildlife and it’s also such great place to enjoy for all ages.

This center is one of the best I've ever been to in NE Ohio. It's a great place for kids of all ages. There are many different animals inside plus a number of awesome animals (mostly birds) outside. Staff is helpful & friendly. The entire center is clean & well designed. It's a must see if you're near Huntington reservation. Also be sure to check out the trail behind the center & keep your eyes peeled for some animals in the woods. There are lots of them to spot!

Wonderful experience at a toddler birthday party. Clean, modern facility with puzzles, birds, fish, snakes. Both indoors and out. The planetarium show was both entertaining and on-point for toddlers. We had a great morning exploring!
