Lakefront Reservation: Cleveland Park Guide

Went there to watch the eclipse the and it was even better than I had imagined. The grounds are free of trash and beautifully manicured—with conveniently placed trash cans and recycling bins throughout. I was particularly impressed by the public bathrooms, which have running water and are exceptionally clean. ​The park is perfectly situated right on the beach, offering breathtaking views that make for a stunning backdrop to any outing. It is an ideal spot for families and social gatherings as there is a great playground, pavilion, picnic tables, benches, and grills for a full day of outdoor cooking. The reservation is also incredibly dog-friendly. Wide paved paths are available which make it easier and fun to share with bicyclists, scooters, runners and children. The paths are also concrete which helps keep the area cool and makes is better for dogs to walk on when temperatures are hot. Lamp posts are located throughout which provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere as they automatically turn on at dusk. Plenty of parking is available and is super close to the park itself making it convenient for lugging your essentials for the day.

This is a medium-sized metropark that has paved walking paths, shelter house, pier,beach,and restrooms. It has scenic views of Lake Erie and has a path that connects to Wildwood Park.

The only bad thing was no place to rinse your feet. Lovely dark sand beach. Was not at all crowded and was peaceful. Lots of flowers and well kept park.

Good place to see Sunsets. People were friendly. Family friendly. No teen drama. People fishing off pier. Beach was clean and families enjoying the lake.
