Beautiful trails. Was there for field trip and have often come with my son to enjoy a nice walk in nature. Staff is very knowledgeable and fun to talk to about native plants and animals and other “nature” topics. There are also events to check out and you can rent some spots in the park too! Come check out the free seed giveaway. I will be picking some up this October!
5 months agoYou can tell the organization put a lot of thought and planning into this place, there are very cute details, especially on the nature center side. Only wish this place was further away from the main road so you wouldn’t hear the cars. Wonderful place! A new favorite of mine!
4 months agoThe trails are nice. The boardwalk is cool. The natural play area for kids is small but nice. The inside is small and not very interesting.
5 months agoI’ve been to the Shaker Lakes Nature center many times in my lifetime. This is my second birthday party and it was absolutely amazing! They kids walked, explored, climbed and went on a scavenger hunt in throughout the forestry. The guide was amazing very engaging with kids. The party room was great space for the kiddos!
a year agoIt is not part of the Cleveland metro parks so I was expecting a less than stellar experience. However, this is a very nice park on par with the Cleveland metro parks.
