North Chagrin Nature Center feels like a cherry on top of the Cleveland Metroparks. Inside, you’ll find well-maintained exhibits and a few aquarium displays that really grab kids’ attention (adults will still enjoy them). Outside, a peaceful pond sits steps from the entrance, making for an easy stroll before or after your visit. The building is clean throughout, and the restrooms are spotless. The natural center has fantastic displays along with knowledgeable staff. They are dog friendly. Visit, learn about the wildlife in the area, then take one of the wonderful trails to try to see all the various species on a walk

What a beautiful area to enjoy the fall weather. We walked the paths and enjoyed the pretty scenery. I love our metropark system!

Love the Sylvan Trail combined with the Oak Leaf trail to feed the Chickadees. Very icy today but still a hike that feeds my heart and soul. Lots of trees down from a microburst in August. Lots of open canopy for new life to spring forth. It will be exciting to observe.

Wonderful programs for all ages - toddlers to adults. Large nature center with a play area and room for education/events. We love to see the live, native animals in their care and speak with the naturalists. In our experience, they have always been so friendly and happy to chat or share information. The trails are also nice - some paved, some not - with beavers, tons of birds, coyotes, etc.
