Nosotros Climbing + Weights: Cleveland Rock Climbing Guide

The new Nosotros location is very cute and inviting. Staff and community are consistently welcoming and kind. I find the air and space cleaner than other area gyms. While the space itself is smaller than other gyms in the area there are plenty of fun routes at all levels and the surrounding neighborhood has tons of fun places to eat or drink.

We had so much fun climbing! What a great date night spot! We cant wait to go again! The staff is fun, professional, safe and knowledgable!

Had a GREAT time climbing at the new Nosotros gym! The renovated warehouse is so cool, and there are a variety of different walls and angled boards to climb. The gym also features a beautiful seating area and well equipped gym (including a peloton). The community is great as well, very helpful when climbing and trying to problem solve on a route. I’ve been going to Nosotros in Lakewood for roughly a year now and have had a really positive experience. I started as a brand new climber and was welcomed into the gym by both staff and other more experienced climbers. Everyone is very excited to help and teach you if you ask for it. The gym has increased how often they reset the routes so there are always new climbing problems to solve. The weightlifting area was expanded, and they keep adding more stuff to do. They also have plans to add more climbing areas. I’ve also taken advantage of their 24/7 membership to allow myself time to climb outside their normal business hours (huge when you have a crazy work schedule). There are a couple (minor) issues that the gym could improve upon that are small enough it wouldn’t prevent me from recommending the gym: the fall mats need replaced. They’ve been torn and repaired several times and I’ve tripped on exposed/repaired seams more than once. The gym hours have been adjusted/shortened and they fall outside the times I typically climb. This makes it more difficult for me to meet other climbers and improve since I feel one of the strongest aspects of climbing is the social interaction. Finally, they don’t have any slab climbing here, but I understand they’re looking into adding some in a new space. The owner is also very friendly and available in the event you have any issues or suggestions and is more than willing to try to make things right. Overall I really like this gym and will continue to come here despite there being other options in the area. I’d recommend it to any new/beginner climbers since the place is so welcoming and supportive.

Good gym with challenging setting. I was not crazy about the pads though. They were a bit too soft and didn't offer a stable landing. Otherwise good gym!
