This is a pretty nice place. It seems to be kept up to date and well maintained. The really important part though is the staff is great. They’re well organized and well managed and try to help if you even look a little confused. It was a nice experience to be sure.
2 years agoReally affordable rink, and not too crowded when I've gone for open skate! 2 hours open skate is a nice generous window of time, especially when the pricing is so low. Parking is convenient and free. There's not really anywhere good to leave a bag or any possessions, just some unprotected cubbies, so only bring in the essentials if you can. They seem to have issues with their credit card system (the worker has to enter your info by hand, and half the time it doesn't even work) so if you can do cash, I'd recommend it
3 years agoI took my 4 year old granddaughter for her skating lesson. Getting her skates was fast and easy. Her class was small. Thornton is a nice facility.
7 years agoLove the skating rink! Great place to skate during their free skate hours. They also do classes and have hockey and figure skating groups.
