Shooters On The Water: Cleveland American Restaurant Guide

This place is a VIBE. Sitting by the river. Beautiful views. A must for weekends or after a long day of work. Sometimes a live band will play music. The staff will check on you in a timely fashion. If a another waiter thinks you haven't been served they will approach and make sure you're fine. The food is solid. It has great burgers and seafood. Their alcoholic drinks are EXTREMELY GOOD. Never watery.

Good was really good. Nice atmosphere with great views. The deck is great and you can walk around and get close to the water. Restaurant is large and outdoor area is spacious with lots of seating. Only draw back was service was slow, took a really long time to get our drinks and food and the restaurant wasn't very busy at the time

Great to be back at Shooters in the Flats. I haven't been in decades. The food, service and ambience were excellent. Apps: We had the chicken quesidilla and coconut shrimp appetizers. Generous portions and delicious. Entree: Fried perch and club sandwich (substituted the chicken for turkey). Again, generous sizes and both were delicious. The apps were so big (to match the price) that we really didn't need entrees after but they were good warmed up the next day. Service: Katie D was our server. She was very helpful, attentive and always cheerful. Live music was lively and the crowd was chill. Always love the lights along the water at night.

This is a place in a restaurant that you come to not so much for the food or the service but for the views. They are some of the best on the Cuyahoga River in the flats in Cleveland. You'll see barges going past, paddlers and kayakers, people walking along the river. Shooters has pretty much one of the best decks in Cleveland right on the riverfront to have a meal. I just wish the meal itself was better. Shooters itself is extraordinarily average, mostly pub food without much creativity. Some of the food is pretty good, but you have to watch what you get and like any other restaurant, depends on which cook is in the kitchen that day. The service ain't so great -- it can be hard to get the attention of servers, and I do feel like they're each given too many tables. Don't count on them for timely refills. Also, don't go here with a large party. It will take forever to get the food, the service will stink, and you'll be stuck inside rather than on the fabulous patio if they have anything to say about it. If you're going on a summer day or early evening to have an amazing lunch or if you're going on a summer day or early evening to have a meal with one of the best views in Cleveland, Shooters is not to be missed. Just manage your expectations in terms of the food and the service itself.

It was a nice restaurant on the waterfront. The hostess was very nice. The server was friendly. The food was okay. I had the lobster roll, which had a few overcooked pieces in it. Some were warm, and the other was cool. I ordered it hot. Sweet tea was not what you think of when you order sweet tea. It was more like sweetened tea. The salad portion was quite large. The pork sandwich was OK, and baked potato was good. The view was great. We saw the bridge raise, and the American Courage floated through.
