Stillwater place: Cleveland Banquet hall Guide

Stillwater Place was a wonderful location for our wedding reception this summer! We received so many compliments about the venue, carousel, zipline, and general ambience, and the staff really went above and beyond to make our big day special and memorable. Having our wedding reception at the zoo was so much fun - it perfectly complemented the joy and excitement we were experiencing on the day!

We found the Wild Wonder Pavilion and Stillwater Place to be the perfect Wedding venue for us! Cynthia Roebuck of Special Events exuded passion, Mary Rochford of Aramark displayed elegant hospitality, and Mia Pressick of Special Events (Asst.) executed the planning & celebration with professionalism, punctuality, and personality! The Pavilion provided an elegant backdrop with shade and great acoustics, which seamlessly transitioned into a cocktail hour. Do yourself a favor and add on the Circle of Wildlife Carousel-- BLEW our guests away. Guests enjoyed day-of free admission to the zoo, as well as complimentary tram service to/from parking lot. Stillwater Place's facilities were immaculate, well-staffed, and all-inclusive-- truly the best value in Cleveland! Our outside vendors were treated as one of Stillwater's own. Family and friends agree that this venue was all things courteous, spacious, atmospheric, and whimsical! Thank you for a night we'll never forget!

Amazing! Cannot recommend this venue enough, so blessed to have gotten married here. :) First off, the space is awesome! New facility, clean, high ceilings and spacious. Any style you choose will fit in here perfectly. Lots of areas to get away and chat during the reception. You also have an event coordinator assigned specifically to your event, and we loved Mia! We chose to have our ceremony on the premises and there are many options for that as well. We actually ending up using the dance floor as an "isle" and it worked out well. One of the reasons we chose this venue was because their indoor options ceremony space options were just as good as outdoor their options. (Being in Cleveland you have to be prepared for any weather at any time.) The carousel was a great add-on for cocktail hour. I wasn't sure if my guests would use it, but many did-multiple times (even older guests)! It made the whole experience much more exciting for everyone. The animal encounter was so cute and my guests were able to take photos with the animals as well. Aramark does the catering and the food was all delicious. And Mary, our Aramark rep was awesome! Everyone was raving about how good it was - even a week later! The "accommodations" were great too - not only is there a "bridal suite" but also a separate "groom's room" and a coat room- which made it feel like a very classy affair. There is also a separate family restroom, so if you're worried about trying to go the bathroom in your wedding dress you will have plenty of space... I really felt like my wedding was a big event by having it at the zoo rather than an ordinary venue. My only caution is that if your dreams are bigger than your budget, be careful because the options here are virtually limitless - but is that really a bad thing? :) Money well spent. Very happy.

I had my prom here. This place was gorgeous the building look gorgeous and the food was decent and the patio was beautiful their was a fire place and geeze near the patio that made it great. The employees made it a great experience so I highly recommend if you can to use this for events it's such a great place.

Stillwater Place at the Cleveland Zoo is such a beautiful place to host a wedding! Our client's day was absolutely beautiful, and the staff, most of all Erin, was so vital in ensuring everything went smoothly throughout the day. Thank you so much for sharing your special space with us!
