I grew up in Cleveland and wanted a venue with views of the city and/or lake, character but that could transform to fit my aesthetic, and a space that would allow people to relax and chat OR party and dance. The Lantern Room checked all the boxes. Ursula is next level - creative, organized, and passionate. As soon as we met I knew working with her to plan my hometown wedding from 2,000 miles away was the only way to do it. Leading up to the big day my mantra was "In Ursula we trust" - and she still exceeded my expectations! Julio is an absolute pro who is always beaming with pride over their team and events, it's easy to see why! Chef David is incredible - he will have your guests talking about the food at your wedding for years to come. EVERY team member was professional, friendly, and efficient. Every detail at our wedding was thoughtfully executed by this team. Personal touches were everywhere with decor that I brought, utilized perfectly & details that Ursula incorporated beautifully because she understood our vision for the day. You can trust The Lantern Room team as hosts for your best day ever - my husband and I are so grateful to them for making our dream wedding a reality. Five Stars is not enough!!

We got married on June 29, 2025 at The Lantern Room at Church and State in Cleveland, and I’m finally sitting down to write this review… almost six months later. What can I say? Wedding brain clearly doesn’t have an expiration date 😂 Our intimate rooftop ceremony with about 50 guests was truly everything we imagined and more. The space itself is stunning—modern, filled with natural light, and the perfect mix of clean white tones and lush greenery. It created such a calm, romantic atmosphere that felt elevated but still warm and personal. What really made the day unforgettable was the team behind it. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful. Every little detail from layout to timing to décor—felt like it was handled with so much care. A huge thank you to Ursula and Julio from Penthouse Events CLE. They helped us every single step of the way and made the entire process so smooth. Their guidance, patience, and expertise made planning feel effortless, and we genuinely felt supported through every decision!! If you’re looking for a modern, intimate, beautifully run Cleveland venue, The Lantern Room is absolutely the one. Our day was beautiful, and we’re so grateful to everyone who made it that way. 🤍🌿💍

We had our wedding at The Lantern Room this October. Ursula, Julio, and their team are incredible partners to plan your event. The Lantern Room is a gorgeous space with even better views. Ursula is with you every step of the way to make sure things go smoothly. The food with their in house catering is delicious, and was highly complimented by our guests. From our first brief meeting with Ursula, we felt like we could instantly trust her. She and her team go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. All we had to do was enjoy ourselves and dance on our wedding day thanks to their organization and attentiveness. If we ever throw another giant party, we are absolutely calling Penthouse Events!

Getting married at The Lantern Room was one of the best decisions my wife and I could have made. Ursula and Julio did a fantastic job of taking the stress out of coordinating 110+ guests and vendors, and when it came to the big day, we were able to actually enjoy ourselves. They were professional, accommodating, and very prompt, not to mention how amazing the venue and the rooftop view looked. It was the best day of my life.

I recently had my 30-year high school reunion at The Lantern Room, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best venues in Cleveland! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. The space is beautifully designed with a ton of natural light, blending modern elegance with a cozy charm. The highlight, without a doubt, is the huge deck that overlooks the stunning Cleveland skyline. Watching the sunset while enjoying the festivities was simply breathtaking! It’s the perfect backdrop for photos and creates an unforgettable experience. So many classmates attending commented on what a cool space it was. Penthouse Events Cle planned the entire night and they went above and beyond to make it special. Ursula, Julio and the rest of staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Whether you’re planning a wedding, reunion, or any special event, The Lantern Room is a fantastic choice. I can't recommend it enough and can't wait to plan something else.
