The Whiskey Bar & Grill: Cleveland Bar & Grill Guide

The two gentleman who worked tonight (2/21) were amazing! The whiskey sour my boyfriend and I got were top tier and their service was amazing. One of the men working was helping us out to find another restaurant/bar to go to enjoy the rest of our evening. I appreciated his help because I am not from here. It ended up all around being an amazing night, and I cannot wait to come back here and enjoy another whiskey sour.

We visited the downtown location on a night when there was not a game or concert so there no wait. The drinks were fabulous as always. The food was on point. We had a charcuterie, burger and grilled chicken! The service was amazing. Great location! Don’t snooze this place. We got some free parking too! Go around back and tell them you’re going to eat at whiskey bar if it’s not an event night maybe you can park free too!

An amazing dive, that's so much more elegant than any dive you've been to. Almost a speakeasy, but not quite. Just off the beaten path to be intimate, but so accessible. And not pretentious. The vibe is perfect, quiet, hole in the wall. Feels like a alley bar on bourbon street but in the heart of Cleveland. The whiskey selection is amazing. And hopefully Cassie is bartending. And amazing bartender with a great knowledge of whiskey. She's the perfect blend of familiar, caring and professional. The quintessential bartender. And plus, you can't beat a woman that knows her whiskey. And the food... its amazing. You cant go wrong. And the chef is better than most top end restaurants. Definitely better than the surrounding hotels and upscale restaurants. I was torn between the ribeye and theamb, took Cassies suggestion of the lambchops and was impressed. Cooked perfectly. They sauce was amazing, rich with a hint of mint. Don't pass on this place. If you want a whiskey bar you'll know what you're getting into with its location. Trust me. The o ly difficty about this place is getting Lyft or Uber to drop you off or pick you up at the door. But the good drivers will accommodate. Cant say enough about this place. Pass on House of Blues and go here inatead.

The bartender was super friendly, and we had the chance to taste several whiskies and bourbons. Great atmosphere, very enjoyable experience!

A true gem and a paradise for any whiskey lover, from the novice taster to the seasoned connoisseur. From the moment you walk through the doors, the atmosphere and beauty of this place will take your breath away. The dim lighting, comfortable seating, stunning decor and classic jazz music in the background create the perfect setting for a sophisticated evening. It’s my favorite date spot. One of the bar's greatest strengths is its extraordinary whiskey selection. You can also grab a delicious steak dinner which is the signature item on their carefully curated food menu. Don’t forget to check out their original location, located in the Coventry Village if you’re in the mood for a smaller intimate and relaxed speakeasy setting! Side note: they offer private parking on the premises!
