I had an amazing experience with my first Thai Massage. My body felt completely transformed after the session. Erin has great attention to detail and is easy to communicate with. The whole staff was so kind and professional. Their sauna and cold plunge suite is also an amazing space. Definitely recommend booking a 30-min session before a massage!

I woke up on a Saturday morning with a terrible migraine—starting in my back, shoulder, and neck, traveling up the back of my head and settling behind my eyes. I knew exactly what it was from: too much time working on the computer. While I know bodywork should be preventative (and not just pain-response care), this was one of those mornings where I truly needed relief. I searched online for massage therapy near me and was able to book a 9:00 a.m. appointment around 8:00 a.m. I arrived right at 9, and parking was easy on the street in Ohio City. Walking into Urban Haven immediately shifted my energy. The space is tranquil and beautifully curated, complete with a waterfall and a warm, welcoming receptionist. She brought me upstairs to the spa area, made me tea, and invited me to sit and relax. There was so much to take in—the thoughtful design, the calm atmosphere, the view of Ohio City from the windows. I picked up a book about Cleveland then and now and found myself completely absorbed, especially as someone new to the area. After about 15 minutes, I realized my therapist may not have received the booking in time—which I fully understood given how close to the appointment I had scheduled online. I went back downstairs and mentioned the wait, acknowledging the short booking window. The receptionist was kind and apologetic, and she showed me a CBD salve that could help with migraines, which I appreciated. Then Jafar walked in. She asked if he had a half hour available, and he said yes. While I usually book with a female therapist, I was open—and it turned out to be exactly who I was meant to work with. Jafar is not just a massage therapist—he is a true body worker and healer. Present, intuitive, and deeply skilled. The massage was focused, intentional, and exactly what my body needed. It wasn’t meant to be relaxing—I was in real pain—but it was incredibly effective. He worked deeply, loosened tension, and helped restore balance where I needed it most. I left knowing I need to make bodywork a regular practice and that I will absolutely be back to see Jafar. Even with the initial wait, the experience unfolded exactly as it was meant to. Sometimes delays are simply redirections—and this one led me to the right healer at the right moment. I absolutely love the atmosphere and design of the place! It looks bougie with the decor. My favorite class is any of them with Arden! She is an excellent and experienced yoga instructor. She answers all your questions and also does amazing hands on assist to make sure you are getting the deepest stretches for your body! She helps to remind you to breathe during each pose, as sometimes I focus on the pose and forget about my inhales and exhales. Arden has increased her knowledge to better help her students to get the best class they can from her! She also does beginner and advanced yoga so it’s a perfect balance for all types of yogis! Saw Jasmin for a Thai massage - that massage style requires substantial technical skill and physical ability on the part of the provider, and Jasmin really shone. Super professional, very quick to identify areas that needed more attention, very aware of limits and pain points. Just a really good experience. I wish I lived nearby to come more often! Next time I’m in the area, I’d definitely plan to see Jasmin again. As a side note, Urban Haven’s space in Ohio City is beautiful. Definitely adds to the experience.

Mary M & Stephanie B were amazing for our couples massage! They listened to our needs and asked us questions before to make our experience best suited for us each individually. Aromatherapy, hot bamboo sticks, relaxing music made the experience all the better. Stephanie even added CBD to my massage to help inflammation I was having from an injury. The environment was relaxing and space had a really chill vibe to it. Perfect!
