AWESOME. Large groups are recommended for going down the hill with speed. Dress for weather... Conveyor belt takes you to the top of the hill. Choose from 6+ equal lanes going down. Concessions sells plenty of snacks and have heated seating area. Inside rest rooms are clean and tidy. Outside fireside is great place to take a short break and warm up. Kids, of ALL ages, will LOVE it!
a month agoEven though this past week was warm and they had quite a bit of melting, the runs were still good. The team was diligently trying to clear the water from the bottom of the runs. I have littles and they were good about helping them get their tube off the end of the run. My wife and I were pleased. Not to mention, my kids thought it was "Epic!"
3 weeks agoShowed up for the first run of the day. Place was nice and the even had a fire going. Lines were manageable and dodnt have to wait long to go down the hill. The little snack shack was nice and had some good item to munch on. Next time we will bring our own and post up at one of the tables. With this being our first time we didn't know but seems like alot of veterans being their own snacks and grab tables. We will be back but not sure we can make it this year.
a year agoWent for a 2-hour time slot and was only able to go down the hill 4 times. Took an average of 30 minutes each time. Most of the time no lanes were going down or only one out of the eight. Couldn't figure out why they weren't letting lanes go down. Best I can figure was it was maybe a staffing issue at the bottom? But driving 2 hours each way plus the cost of admission just wasn't worth only 4 trips down. Probably won't be back for the tubing. Might give the skiing a try, the lifts didn't have a line.
