What Visitors Say

This museum is attached to the History Museum and perfect for those interested in architecture and restored mansions. They have several rotating exhibits as well as the restored home with furniture at the far end of the museum. The upstairs of this home was open for us to walk through and it was just one beautiful room after the other. It was obvious that they took great pride in preserving this home and its antiques. There was also time spent researching the prior residents and trends of the time as seen on plaques throughout the home. There is also a central and side garden which were not open due to the cold weather. Of note here is that you have to walk through several smaller exhibits to get to the actual house. It is somewhat easy to think you are done and miss it. This was a great find and I will definitely be back.

A very cool museum that we were delighted with, good staff, clean premises, there is a dressing room where you can leave your outerwear. Many cool cars, and the main thing is a playroom for children where you can play and read interesting books. Also, downstairs there are very cool mock-ups of a store, a hairdresser, children's things, as if I were in the distant past. There is also a movie theater where you can watch short stories, the statue of Superman is great. We were very satisfied, I recommend it to everyone))

The professionalism at Extension #4 was disappointing. During my call, after explaining my research topic, the staff member disengaged without acknowledgment and began speaking with someone else. There was no indication that I was being placed on hold. I value libraries and hope communication standards are upheld consistently.
