What Visitors Say
“People say this ice skating rink offers public skating sessions and hockey games. They also highlight the recent upgrades, including new lighting and paint, and the availability of rental skates. Some reviews mention parking can be difficult.”
My kids come here for their learn to skate program and the instructors are fantastic. This is also where I played hockey through high school and still play today. The rink staff and coaches do an excellent job supporting players of all levels. The environment is welcoming for families, skaters, and hockey players alike. Whether you’re just coming for open to skate, putting your kids in lessons, or playing competitive hockey, this rink offers something special. Come check it out if you’re looking for a great place to skate, learn, or play hockey!
in the last weekTerrible location for a tournament. No bleachers or seating. Nowhere near adequate parking. Circled lot for 15 minutes with 6 other cars before I 'found'my own parking in order to not miss the start of my kids tournament game. Ridiculous
5 months agoBeen around 5 years since I had visited or skated here. Place looks great with new lighting, coat paint and several upgrades with more it appears on the way. Public skate was fun with the kids and friends with concession stand for some snacks and such. Rental skates were noted by others to be of good condition and comfortable. Music could have a bit louder and maybe some additional fancy lighting to add some excitement to the public skate couldn't hurt. The two hour skate was perfect for a Sunday morning, then off to Angelo's Pizza for lunch. Consider registering/purchasing tickets online before arriving.
2 months agoPoor location for a tournament and bad decision when you’re allegedly under construction. lots of obstacles to get around as a parent and for the children. Very difficult to get onto the ice as a team or player especially significant difficulty getting to your teams bench due to ice access only. Locker rooms are allegedly temporary, and made out of particleboard with a tarp for a roof On Sundays during tournament finals parking is an absolute disaster. I’m currently waiting six cars in line looking for a parking spot and I got four cars behind me waiting for someone to pull out of one parking spot.
3 months agoI think the Ohio state liquor board needs to take a look at this rink, they over served parents at a youth hockey game on Saturday March 6th and it was embarrassing to witness grown adults slur their speech and stumble around while watching literal children play hockey. Then those same parents all got in their cars and drove away with their kids. Shameful.
